Well, we probably overdid ourselves, but what the heck. (Somebody, tell me we only live once!) It has been on my bucket list, but before “bucket list” became part of our vernacular. I think I got the wanderlust from my dad who often said to me, “Stick with me kid, and I’ll show you the world.” And he showed me a lot of it. My mother loved more exotic travels, like Africa and India. She was especially enamored with big cats. My father was drawn to European countries, like England, Scotland, France, Germany, Austria, and the Scandinavian countries. He was an avid golfer, and my folks owned a second home for six months out of the year in St. Andrews, Scotland, the home of golf and The Old Course. I suppose, after taking all this into consideration, I credit my relish for seeing new sights and the enchantment attached to my beloved parents. I can’t possibly come close to their adventures, at least not yet. I am just starting out. So, friends, here it is. Our new second home is home in our driveway. I’ll keep you posted on our escapades.
Look awesome. Enjoy you adventures
This is a first for me. Tommy, many years ago, took a year off and traveled around the country. It was after hurricane Andrew demolished his home.
Wow ! Beautiful.! Hope you get to enjoy it. Corky and I always found little places out of the way. Once we stopped at a picnic area. It was beautiful. Another time we stopped on the side of a mountain on a turn out. What a glorious sunrise we got the next morning. You will have a wonderful time exploring !
I am looking forward to seeing the country. I remember when you and Corky came to see us. You were driving an RV and Coral Springs gave you a ticket. Dummies!
OMG! That is HUGE!! I am looking forward to reading about all the great adventures you two kids will have 🤪🤪
It’s not that big. I think it is 28 ft, which in the RV world is small. We have mapped out our maiden trip. Right now we are planning to head to Oklahoma with sightseeing stops along the way.
Enjoy your adventures in your new place!!
I sure hope we do. I’m excited.
